1. About ABN BAS

ABN BAS started providing services from 1 March 2010, which was the commencement date of the new BAS Agent laws. Prior to this, ABN had certified BASs under the former “working under the direction of a tax agent” regulatory regime since 2001.

ABN BAS has five directors, among these four Registered Tax Agents and four Chartered Accountants / CPAs. Additionally, all of the directors of Australian Bookkeepers Network (ABN) are directors of ABN BAS, reflecting the tight integration between the two firms.
